Tibet Tours

Tibet - Tours Tibet or popularly known as “Shangri La”, ‘the Rooftop of the World’ is the country locked away in its Himalayan castle. Tibet is one of the most beautiful countries which have long exercised a siren's hold on the thoughts of the West. The most striking feature is that despite being the devastating Chinese occupation, they have still managed to make their own identity and have kept their traditions and humor breathing. Delving into Tibet’s history we come to know that it was once an independent empire. That independent empire where the government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of Tibet in Exile merged together. But somehow they both disagree over this fact and also they have sustained that Tibet was not a part of China. And also they raise the question that is whether this assimilation into China was legal.
This is the reason why whenever the Government of Tibet in Exile and the Tibetan refugee community worldwide refer Tibet, they mean a large area that formed the cultural entity of Tibet for many centuries. This is also includes their various traditional provinces of Amdo, Kham (Khams), and Ü-Tsang (Dbus-gtsang). But somehow they exclude the areas outside the People's Republic of China (PRC) like Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Bhutan, and Ladakh that have now formed part of the Tibetan cultural sphere. Talking about its geographical presentation we realize that Tibet is located on the world's highest region that is Tibetan Plateau. The most astonishing fact is that majority of the youngest mountain ranges in the world that are mere 4 million years old lies in this marvelous country. But the most striking fact is that Tibet Tibet - Tours is the place where there is Mount Everest, with the average altitude is about 3,000 m in the south and 4,500 feet in the north.

Historically Tibet is very rich and the historic Tibet consists of various regions such as Amdo in the northeast which is now, incorporated by China into the provinces of Qinghai, Gansu and Sichuan, second to follow is Kham in the east, divided between Sichuan, northern Yunnan and Qinghai. The next on the list is Tibetan Autonomous Region, U (dBus) located in the center, and Tsang sited in the center-west. Last but not the least to follow is Ngari situated in the far west. Economy wise Tibet is primarily an agriculture dominated country. The main reason behind this widespread occupation is that they have limited arable land and livestock raising. But with recent changes and also due to the increased interest in Tibetan Buddhism tourism has become an increasingly important sector. This is the reason why this sector is actively promoted by the authorities.

Thus, in short we can say that this country is a visual treat and also worth paying a visit.
